Innocor® provides non-invasive measurement of cardiac output at rest and during exercise by inert gas rebreathing (Innocor® CO), and lung clearance index measurement from preschool children to adults via multi-breath SF6 wash-out technique (Innocor® LCI).
The simplicity of the test manoeuvres together with the specifically designed patient interfaces make the tests suitable for both adults and children.
For both methods, Innocor® utilizes a fast-responding photoacoustic infrared gas analyser which guarantees unmatched sensitivity, accuracy, and stability. Innocor® is validated in an impressive number of papers covering diverse conditions.

Non-invasive cardiac output
Inert gas rebreathing is an accurate, reproducible, and rapid method relying on an analytical principle based on a sound lung model using insoluble gas (SF6) distribution and blood soluble gas (N2O) uptake.
Lung Clearance Index
Ventilation distribution analysis (LCI, FRC) is done via multi-breath wash-out using true insoluble tracer gas SF6 ensuring no N2 back diffusion, O2 influence on breathing or effect of inspiratory leakages.
Metabolic gas exchange option
Cardiac output can be combined with metabolic measurements during cardiopulmonary exercise testing by breath-by-breath gas exchange analysis.
Outstanding accuracy
The patented fast-responding photoacoustic infrared multi-gas analyser guarantees high sensitivity, accuracy, and reliability in measuring SF6, N2O, and CO2.
Daily calibration not required
Photoacoustic gas analysis ensures unmatched stability which means that Innocor® only requires a yearly calibration check.
