VO2 Max test at HMS - FIFA Medical Center of Excellence in Dubai (UAE)
Sebastian Delfi, australian former professional footballer and founder of Royal Training, shows us a VO2 Max test, the best indicator of cardiovascular fitness and aerobic endurance.
The test was performed with COSMED Fitmate Pro desktop metabolic system at HMS FIFA Medical Center of Excellence Dubai, a “state-of-the-art” sports medicine centre for high-level local and international athletes.
Fitmate Pro measures oxygen uptake (at rest or during exercise) with the same accuracy of conventional systems with both O2 and CO2 sensors, but provides an easier test process (no calibration with gas cylinders, no warm-up).
