Training day with COSMED K5 for the Saudi Arabia National Football Team

Coach Roberto Mancini and O2Up team put the Green Falcons through their paces in this training session: the players undergoing intense fitness tests with the COSMED K5 wearable metabolic system to determine their cardiovascular fitness and performance capacity (VO2Max).

The test intensity was progressively increased while measuring ventilation and oxygen and carbon dioxide concentration of the inhaled and exhaled air.

The Falcons have begun their training program in Lagos, Portugal, in preparation for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, which is being held in Qatar in 2024.
