VO2max test with Quark CPET metabolic cart for a professional road racing cyclist
Willie Smit, professional road racing cyclist from South Africa, currently riding for China Glory Continental Cycling, had a VO2max test at Science to Sport’s Lab in Girona during the pre-season testing.
A performance test will outline the current form and assess training zones to ensure that the athlete continue to train at the correct intensity levels. After the test, Willie is now ready to prepare for the second part of the year with accurate data.
